During my Home Good Design class at the end of my Junior year, I was tasked with designing a board made out of wood using a CNC. In Fusion360 I designed a tray replicating the curvature of of paper counter weighted by a metal chunk to give the board a seance of height off the ground. I then later pushed the project even further by making a second tray for sushi out of BPA free reflective acrylic.
